Each of the buttons at left, represent a specific class and/or Trimble GPS product. If you're not sure which class or service you require, send us an email describing your needs or give us a call at (503) 624-6133. To see a list of classes for 2008, click on the link below. They are Trimble GPS and ESRI GIS classes that will be held in Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California and various other regions. ArcPad with GPScorrect™ and GPSAnalyst™- this newest course provides comprehensive instruction on how to use a Windows Mobile device with GPS and ArcPad with GPScorrect extension to collect and update GIS data in the field. Post processing and integration back into a GeoDatabase is accomplished using ArcGIS and GPS Analyst extension. ArcPad and GPScorrect is used in the field to collect and update data. ArcGIS and GPS Analyst are used in the office to post process GPS data and bring data back into the GeoDatabase. This is a three-day course. We are exposing students to five software programs; ArcPad, GPScorrect, ArcCatalog, ArcMap and GPS Analyst. TerraSync™with Pathfinder Office® - TerraSync™ is Trimble's data capture and GIS updating software. It is designed to run on any device that uses the Microsoft WindowsCE operating system, including Trimble's new GeoExplorer XH, XT or XM. It has the advantage of a Windows GUI (graphical user interface) and the ability to load a variety of background maps "behind" your GPS data. The full color screen greatly enhances your ability to see detail and spatial relationships. ProXRS- this is Trimble's 50cm backpack mapping product. It is worn as a small backpack with an antenna supported on a one-foot pole. The system is controlled by either the GeoXT™, the Recon® the Nomad™, the Archer or the Ranger™, all running TerraSync field software. We offer a class for those using the Asset Surveyor software in the TSC-1, but only online. Pathfinder Office™ software is included. Custom Classes- this is a class anywhere from one to four days in length. We design the course around your requirements, typically in preparation for a specific field task or project. Seminars/Workshops- this can be a presentation to a large group, a brush-up course, or a specifically-designed workshop to introduce students to a particular product, procedure or system. We design with you in mind. |
