The Trimble GeoExplorer 3 has been officially discontinued.  

Trimble released this unit on January 2000 and discontinued it in December of 2002.  It had a total market life of 3 years.  Trimble has committed to support it with repairs and accessories for a period of 3 years from the date of discontinuance. 

There are still pages on Trimble's Web site that point to the GeoExplorer 3.  Look under Discontinued Products for the GeoExplorer 3.
