To use Trimble's Web site most effectively, go to www.trimble.com, select Products and Solutions, then Products A-Z. Select the product and go to the Support link in the left margin of that product's page. From there, you can select Downloads, Documentation, Support Notes, or the new Solution Center. If you cannot find what you're looking on Trimble's Web site, please contact Jim Lahm by email or call (503) 624-6133. This section of our Help page is for older products only: This is our version of an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) to assist those who are using the GeoXH, GeoXT, GeoXM, Recon, GeoExplorerII®, GeoExplorer 3, ProXR/XRS and Pathfinder Office™. Choose the category that best fits your question. If you're using ArcPad 7.1, GPScorrect 2.30 and GPS Analyst 2.10, you must get this new document. It explains how to customize the GPS Analyst toolbar to provide access to the new AXF check-out and check-in tools. Critical - for users of any Trimble 2005 Series GeoCE unit, please click the link to get and install the latest Operating System, v5.1.13. This OS was released on August 9, 2006 and will greatly enhance the operation and performance of your Trimble unit. IMPORTANT! -It has come to our attention that on certain Dell laptop and Compaq Evo laptop computers, you can damage the motherboard by directly connecting a USB cable between a Trimble support module (cradle) for a 2003 Series GeoXT or GeoXM, and the computer. The exact Dell model numbers that can be affected are not known. The remedy is to use a multiport USB hub between the cradle and computer. If you are using a 2005 Series GeoXH, XT or XM, you cannot use a USB hub between the support module (cradle) and the computer. You will not be able to establish a connection between the two devices.
