The client wanted to determine how much water could be released from Heppner Dam into Willow Creek without flooding local farmland. To discover this, we had to first complete a cross-section survey of 17 miles of Willow Creek, from the Dam to the town of Ione, Oregon. The survey-grade equipment used on this project was top-of-the-line Trimble 4000SSE GPS receivers, dual-frequency GPS antennas, Pacific Crest Radios, TDC-1 Data Collector, and TRIMMAP software.
