Trimble has just released a new version of ProXR/XRS firmware.  This is a file that you can download and install into your GPS receiver that resides in the yellow backpack.  The new firmware improves the performance of the receiver, especially under trees.

Asset Surveyor™ (discontinued on 1-1-2003) is the data collection software that runs in any of the dataloggers listed on the left.  It controls the quality of the GPS data collected and the behavior of the entire system.  To insure that you are using a recent version of Asset Surveyor™, click on the link below.  Choose the one matching the datalogger you are using.
